Adam's Commission, #1

Category:

With this paper, we’ll take up the subject of Adam’s commission found at Genesis 1:26 and Genesis 1:28 which reads as follows: “26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth .... 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish [rather, fill] the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”

We have a very interesting situation with this passage, for we have the actual creation of Adam-man at verse 27, sandwiched between his commission defined at verses 26 & 28. Therefore, this places Adam right at the heart, the very epicenter of his appointed vocation. He is enclosed entirely within it. Hence, there is no way he can avoid doing the job he was created for! Yet there are those in Israel Identity who dance up and down declaring that Genesis 1:27 is the creation of the non-Adamic races! Should that be true – and thank the Almighty it’s not – the non-Adamic races would have the commission of subduing the White Adamic race! Yet, when someone ruptures their distorted premise, they fume, bristle, fuss, and rage to no end!

Adam-man (#120) was commanded to take “dominion” over the earth. This verb means “to rule over” at Genesis 1:28. A passage where the context is similar is at Lev. 26:17. I hardly believe that the non-Adamic races were given the Divine authority to “rule over” the Adamic race, as this would be the implication if the 6th & 8th day creation proponents are correct! Rather, it should be the other way around! Though Israel was warned at Lev. 26:17 that if we didn’t “hearken” to Yahweh, He would allow the enemy to “punish” them; the words used there are “reign over you.” The Hebrew word for “dominion” or “reign” is #7287 in the Strong’s. #7287 can also mean to “tread down.” The Enhanced Strong’s Lexicon says the following:

7287 רדח [radah/raw·daw/] v. A primitive root; Theological Wordbook of the Old Testament 2121, 2122; Goodrick-Kohlenberger 8097 and 8098; 27 occurrences; AV translates as ‘rule’ 13 times, ‘dominion’ nine times, ‘take’ twice, ‘prevaileth’ once, ‘reign’ once, and ‘ruler’ once. 1 to rule, have dominion, dominate, tread down. 1a (Qal) to have dominion, rule, subjugate. 1b (Hiphil) to cause to dominate. 2 to scrape out. 2a (Qal) to scrape, scrape out.”

The Theological Wordbook of the Old Testament: 2121רדח  (rādâ) I, rule. Derivative 2121a מרדח (mirdâ) dominion (Isa 14:6). This verbal root is found in later Semitic dialects (but not Ugaritic). It occurs in two senses. One is cognate to Akkadian radu although the Hebrew root developed the specialized meaning ‘to tread’ and is used in the Qal stem in this sense only once (Joel 3:13), ‘Come! Tread! for the winepress is full, the vats are overflowing.’ The second meaning is ‘to rule’ and is used some twenty-two times in the ot, occurring in every section and type of context. The initial usage appears in Gen 1:28, ‘And let them rule over the fish of the sea.’ (The allusion to this verse in Ps 8:6 [H 7] uses māšal.) There is no definite structure to its use in parallel poetry, as the root may be placed in either the first (Ps 68:28) or the second hemistich (Ps 49:15). rādâ does not occur as a synonym in proximity to the more frequent verb, māšal (q.v.). Generally rādâ is limited to human rather than divine dominion (Ps 110:2, et al.) The root is used of the rule of Israel over its enemies (Isa 14:2) and of the Gentile nations’ rule over subject peoples (Isa 14:6). A most difficult and unusual usage occurs in Lam 1:13, RSV mistakenly reads, ‘From on high he sent fire; into my bones he made it descend,’ while KJV and jps (Jewish Publication Society) more precisely translate, ‘From above hath he sent fire into my bones, and it prevaileth against them.’ But to be preferred is the reading, ‘He sent fire from above into my very bones and it overruled them.’ There is one instance of the Hiphil stem in Isa 41:2, speaking of the reign of the king-messiah, ‘And causes him to rule over kings.’

“A possible derivative is mirdâ ‘dominion’ which is not found unless it be the true reading of the MT mrdāp (q.v.) in Isa 14:6.”

The Hebrew word for “subdue”, found at Genesis 1:28, is #3533 in the Strong’s. It also has the connotation to “tread down.” It would appear then, that Adam’s commission was both to “rule” and to “tread down.” At Numbers 32:22 the word #3533 appears to mean to “subdue” by making war. The Enhanced Strong’s Lexicon says the following:

3533: כבש [kabash/kaw·bash/] v. A primitive root; Theological Wordbook of the Old Testament 951; Goodrick-Kohlenberger 3899; 15 occurrences; AV translates as ‘subdue’ eight times, ‘bring into subjection’ three times, ‘bring into bondage’ twice, ‘keep under’ once, and ‘force’ once. 1 to subject, subdue, force, keep under, bring into bondage. 1a (Qal). 1a1 to bring into bondage, make subservient. 1a2 to subdue, force, violate. 1a3 to subdue, dominate, tread down. 1b (Niphal) to be subdued. 1c (Piel) to subdue. 1d (Hiphil) to bring into bondage.” Note: Evidently this is a Hebrew word incorporated into the yiddish as a slang word “kabosh” meaning “to put a stop to something.”

From the Dictionary of Biblical Languages with Semantic Domains: 3899 כבש (kabash): v.; = Strong’s lexicon 3533; Theological Wordbook of the Old Testament 951—1. Louw-Nida Greek-English Lexicon 39.52-39.61 (qal) subdue, overcome, enslave, i.e., conquer and control an environment or people (Ge 1:28; 2 Ch 28:10 ...; (nif = Niphal) be subdued, be subject, be brought under control (Nu 32:22, 29; Jos 18:1; 1 Ch 22:18; Ne 5:5b+ (+ = More references in bhs)); (piel) subdue (2 Sa 8:11+); (hif = Hiphil) subdue, subjugate ...; 2. Everyone seems to be overly concerned about where the Bible speaks of the non-Adamites. If we will go back to Genesis 1:26, 28, it would have to fall in the classification of: “... and over all the earth” or “and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” If one will notice, “man”, the “fish of the sea”, the “fowl of the air”, the “cattle”, and “every creeping thing” are separately mentioned, and to include them again under the category “... and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth” would be superfluous. One thing the Bible isn’t: it isn’t redundant! When the Bible speaks of #120 “man”, it is speaking of Adam-man!

I’m not saying that the Bible doesn’t repeat itself, for it does; but when it does, we can be quite sure there is a good reason for it. It’s like the passages at Isaiah 21:9 and Revelation 14:8 where it says in part: “... Babylon is fallen, is fallen ...” In other words, historically, the great city of Babylon fell to Cyrus of Persia in 539 B.C., and today we have another symbolic Babylon in our present-day great monetary-political-religious system which controls the entire world, but is due to fall also, as the great city of ancient Babylon fell, never to rise again.

With that in mind, we need to check Genesis 1:26, 28 again to see what is repeated. You will find its “the fish of the sea” and “the fowl of the air” which are both stated a second time. I don’t want to read more into this than it says, but I believe that this is an indication that the White Adamites were to conquer both the oceans and the skies. And it has been Adamites who’ve dove deeper in the oceans and flown higher in the skies. The conquering of the seas has taken us thousands of years and the conquering of the skies has only happened in recent history, but no other people can claim the recognition of either! This alone should prove beyond all reasonable doubt that the “man” at Genesis 1:26-27 is not the other races, but #120 White Adam-man! The 6th & 8th day creation advocates should be ashamed of themselves!

Unless we comprehend that the Almighty gave to Adam the authority to be the chief administrator over that which was created before him, we miss the entire purpose for his creation. That purpose is stated very appropriately at Psalm 8:4-8:

“4 What is [enosh-]man (#582), that thou art mindful of him? and the son of [Adam-]man (#120), that thou visitest him? 5 For thou hast made him (Adam-man) a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. 6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: 7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts (#929) of the field; 8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.”

For the phrase “the beasts of the field” to be in context at verse 7 in this passage, it must correspond with Genesis 1:26 where the term “cattle” is used. Josephus put it quite properly by stating “four-footed beasts”, Antiquities 1:1:1. Verse 4 asks a very appropriate question here: “What is [enosh-]man (#582), that thou art mindful of him?” A second question should then be asked: If Yahweh is not “mindful” of enosh-man, why should we be? How many times have we read Psalm 8:4 not realizing that it is comparing two different kinds of man?! This is the difference between just surface-reading the Bible or diligently searching out the truth of the matter! That truth is the fact that the Almighty has put Adam in charge of this world! That’s what it means when it says in verse 5 “thou hast put all things under his feet.” This has not fully happened as of yet; as Satan and his children, the “Jews” of Revelation 2:9 & 3:9, have usurped that position, because Israel refused to exterminate every last Canaanite to the man, including women and children!

That is where the Incarnation comes into the picture! When Yahweh came in the flesh, in the person of Yahshua the Messiah, he became the qualified Adamite to have all things put under His feet. As I have stated before, the person of Yahshua was made up of 23 chromosomes from His mother Mary and 23 chromosomes from Yahweh through the Holy Spirit without the means of sexual intercourse. He wouldn’t have been a perfect man otherwise. Today, 6-30-2004, there was a so-called “Bible teacher” on television by the name of Les Feldick, who said that “Christ didn’t get any of his blood from his mother Mary”, which is true. Where Feldick went wrong is he next claimed that “Christ got all His blood from His Father God.” The scientific truth is, Christ didn’t get His blood from either His mother or “God.” At conception Mary contributed 23 chromosomes and the Holy Spirit contributed 23 chromosomes, and the fetus made its own blood from those 46 chromosomes! As the fetus developed, every single cell in His body contained those same original 46 chromosomes; 23 from His mother and 23 from the Father through the Holy Spirit! Thus, every single cell of Yahshua’s blood was half Adam-man and half “God”! Further, being half man and half “God” certainly made Yahshua 100% Adamic, for Adam was the “son of God.” Yahshua came in the flesh containing 46 chromosomes, He was crucified in the flesh containing 46 chromosomes, He arose from the dead in the flesh containing 46 chromosomes, He ascended in the flesh containing 46 chromosomes, and He will return at His Second Advent in the flesh with those same 46 chromosomes; 23 from His mother and 23 from the Father! Any other teaching is Antichrist!

This is not yet all the story! This union of Yahweh and Adam-man had to be of the same genetic family tree! In other words, both parties had to have the same genes. If it were not of the same family tree, it would be a genetic misfit. That is how we can know we are genetically the same as Yahweh! We are His genetic sons and daughters! What’s more, these chromosomes come in two matching pairs of 23, one set from the mother and one set from the father, and they have to fit together perfectly. Any mismatch destroys the offspring’s genetics forever throughout all the generations after him/her. Anyone in Israel Identity claiming that race doesn’t make a difference is a liar, plain and simple! The truth is, we have a racial, genetic kinsman Redeemer! And anyone not of His family tree cannot be Redeemed – PERIOD!

This is only the first paper on this subject. With the next, which will be entitled Adam’s Commission, #2, we will dig deeper into more ramifications of Adam’s commission. Its not a subject that we dare to pass over lightly! You will be amazed at all of the implications!
